Personal license terms

One purchase lets the same buyer use ShuKey on up to three Macs at the same time. The license is perpetual and can be verified offline after activation. The Android phone and Wear OS watch apps are provided as free companion apps.

The purchase includes 12 months of updates. Releases published during that period may be installed and used forever. Ending update access does not disable an installed release or the system-password fallback.

Normal deactivation releases a seat. Emergency website release only restores a server seat; because old licenses work permanently offline, the website cannot promise to revoke one remotely.

ShuKey is a convenience tool, not a replacement for FileVault, your system password, or organizational security policy. It cannot unlock FileVault, the first login after a restart, or a logged-out user. You must keep and protect your system password.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, this license is for the purchaser's personal use. You may not resell it, share an activation code, bypass device limits, defeat the licensing system, or use ShuKey to access a device without authorization.
